Richie has been at Poly since 6th grade.  Richie has been on varsity baseball since his freshman year and played JV in eighth grade.  As a Freshman, Richie was voted Honorable Mention to the All-League team and was voted to the first team All-League as a Sophomore.  Richie has played for the New York Gothams and currently plays for the New York Nine during the summer.  Richie also plays varsity soccer, football, and basketball.  Richie was voted 2nd team All-League as a sophomore during Poly’s State Championship Soccer run and voted to the 1st team All-League as a Junior during Poly's second straight State Championship run.  He was also a captain of JV basketball his Sophomore year.  In 2006, he threw a 3-hitter in the AAU National Championship game for the New York Gothams.  Richie currently resides in New York, New York.
